On a rare, sunny day in the city, after looking longingly out of the office window at snap-happy tourists, we decided we wanted a piece of the action. As London workers, we rarely get the chance to experience the city through fresh eyes, and as one of the most bustling, vibrant capitals in the world, it really does deserve our full attention every now and then. So, we chucked on our sunnies, grabbed the communal Nikon, and headed out onto the streets to capture what we love so much about our own little slice of London.
Bedford Square is our spiritual and physical home. With lush greenery, Store Street’s trendy cafes and an abundance of unfathomably cute squirrels, there really is nothing not to love.
We had to take a quick shot of this Boris Bike docking station, for the pure novelty value that it was full for once.
Charlotte Street is one of our favourite places in the whole wide world. It’s just overflowing with incredible restaurants and street food stalls, not to mention edgy pop-up shops and gorgeous little side-streets. Also, who wouldn’t want to pay a visit to Pollock’s Toy Museum of an afternoon?
Our beloved, always bustling ToCoRo (Tottenham Court Road).
That’s right, we also live five minutes from the majestic, the wonderful, British Museum (try not to be too jealous). We have even been known to hold office meetings there, wandering through the Ancient Egypt exhibition.
Oh London. You so pretty.
