The Brief

dealchecker were looking to create a piece of content promoting Poland weekend breaks, and which would increase traffic to its destination specific page. The piece was to be hosted on their blog, and should be in an easily shareable format, preferably focusing on one specific aspect of the country.


The Solution

As much as Poland is famed for its cultural heritage, historical richness and incredible architecture, we elected to focus on an aspect of Polish culture that is fast gaining appreciation in the UK as well as in its home country – its food. Polish food is topical, gaining popularity and regularly featuring on social channels like Pinterest and Instagram, so we felt creating a campaign around it could easily tap into this growing trend. We settled on producing an infographic that details traditional dishes and delicacies from different Polish regions, as well as well-known, nationwide favourites and unexpected specialities (strawberry soup anyone?) The result is a stylish and informative piece, which has already been well-received by both Polish natives and those keen to visit the country.
