The Brief

dealchecker tasked SESOME with rebranding and refreshing 2014’s popular campaign ‘Fun Before You Fly: The World’s Most Unusual Airports’, by creating an updated version for 2016.


The Solution

We decided to maintain the original idea of the piece – to list and explore the most unusual and unexpected activities in and features of worldwide airports to enjoy before taking a flight – for the new format. As well as a graphical redesign, we also researched and added extra airports into the piece to ensure that it was as up-to-date as possible.

The rebranded, new piece is more illustrative and quirky than its predecessor, serving to further represent the activities and attractions themselves, as well as including newer destinations. The resulting campaign is a visually engaging infographic with entertaining subject matter and was placed by a number of high profile bloggers, as well as being popular on social channels, Pinterest in particular.
