The Client

The Brief

Ever abreast of the latest trends in restaurant dining, Bookatable were, in this case, looking to explore the burgeoning movement towards eating at the counter or bar of restaurants rather than at traditional tables. The brief was to present the concept of ‘counter dining’ in an editorially based, shareable asset.

The Solution

Following comprehensive research into the many attractions and benefits of counter dining, we conceptualised the content to be sectioned up for different types of diners. Each section was to explore the benefits of dining at the counter of a restaurant from a different modern perspective, including professional, social and even romantic (for that awkward first date). The tone of the text is light-hearted with humorous undertones, so as to engage the target audience, and the piece’s visual design is sleek and playful, as well as being compact enough for social sharing.
