The Client



The Brief

In order to complement the spike in Spring city break bookings, Travel Republic tasked SESOME with creating a campaign centred on alternative city breaks. They were keen for the campaign to have a health-focused angle, as well as insider knowledge.


The Solution

After looking into burgeoning health trends of the moment, we found that both cold and salt water swimming were enjoying newfound popularity. Led by this, we settled on the idea of listing great places in cities around the world for outdoor swimming, some of which were also saltwater pools. The result took the form of an editorial piece with inset photography, an infographic listing the featured pools for easy social sharing and enough city break inspiration to dive straight into. The campaign was picked up by a high ranking, influential blogger, and was also featured in Wild Swim Outdoor Swimming Society’s newsletter.
